Class Description:
Yin Guang was inspired by Election Day 2020 to make this elegant Simple V necklace. It is a 12-strand Zig Zag Anda Gumi braid as described by Makiko Tada in her Comprehensive Treatise of Braids VI. The necklace is made using satin cord and a single pearl.
In this class, students will learn:
- How to set up fiber on a round disk or square plate, (Yin has created a “hack” for students who do not have a square plate.)
- The basic moves of Anda Gumi braid
- How to control the tension of the braid

- 6 pc of 2 yards 1mm satin cords – purchase Link
- 1 pc 14mm shell pearl – purchase link
- 1 pc 5” 28G craft wire
- 1 pc 10” T210 S-Lon
- 1 set of glue-on end-cap magnetic clasp 2”, inside diameter 8mm – purchase link
- Small round disk (4.25” with a 35 mm center hole) or Square or Octo plate
