I finished the five braids on the Baby Takadai and now I want to try a braid or two using 2 or more colors.
I looked for the video about starting with a horizontal start but couldn’t find it. Has it been uploaded and if so, where?

Here is my Braid 4 Maru Yattsu Gumi pattern a.

Here is my Braid 3, Maru-Genji Gumi.  First I braided with layout in a.  I then moved the threads around for the layout in b.  I ignored the third color in the S  group and had 4 light threads in S group.

Here is my Braid 2, Kaku Yattsu Gumi. I’ve left a little of the incorrect start!

I am not able to get the long stripe on the braid.  I’ve tried the color layout shown on the written instructions as well as the layout in the video.  I always get the chevron! Hi Carolyn:

I too found that the twist kept untwisting. I was using only 40 strands of Imposter for each tama which were leftovers from a previous braid.  My counter weight was only 111 gm which is 40% of the 4 – 70gram tama. I tried both Method 1 and Method 2 and both in stripe and spiral.  My favorite is the spiral in Method 2.
