We have a number of members who are interested in learning to do Kumihimo on a Marudai, the original Japanese wooden tool. We will hold an information session at my apartment to allow people to actually try a Marudai, get the feel for it, ask questions, etc. before committing to the time and expense that using this will entail. I currently have six different sizes and styles of Marudai that we can use. Once we know for certain who is interested in the Marudai Study Group, we will firm out the details of meeting times, places, etc. (Although it would probably be easiest to meet at my place.)
Once you have responded that you are coming, I will send you information about where I live, where to park, what to bring, etc.
