After taking an introductory beaded Kumihimo class in 2014, I haven’t stopped braiding since. I love all kinds of beading, but when I began to explore the complex world of Kumihimo, I was hooked. For me, Kumihimo is a relaxing therapy allowing for endless possibilities of artistic expression. Being involved in the creative and diverse community of AKS certainly enriches the experience. I’m thrilled to be a member of the AKS board of directors. I’ve worked on a number of non-profit boards in the Northeast Ohio musical arts arena through the decades, and I hope to apply my experience in ways that benefit the relatively new AKS organization.
